How Can We Help You?
What is a VPN? Why do I need a VPN?
A virtual private network is a service that allows you to connect to the Internet through an encrypted tunnel to ensure your privacy and sensitive data online. VPNS are commonly used to protect connections to public Wi-Fi hotspots, hide IP addresses and browse privacy.
If you want to know if VPNS are legal, you should know that most countries don't have laws banning or restricting VPN use.
That doesn't mean there aren't some governments that stifle free speech and resort to censorship. The repressive regime bans the use of VPNS, citing tackling extremism and safeguarding national security.
Except in these countries, VPN use is legal. However, keep in mind that even if you are connected to a VPN server, no VPN is considered illegal activity is still illegal.
Isn't regular security software enough to protect my privacy?
Antivirus software or firewalls will not protect your personal freedom on the Internet or protect you when your privacy is violated. It does not guarantee your anonymity on the Internet. Firewalls monitor network traffic and protect you from unauthorized access when necessary, while antivirus software specifically targets harmful software.
