What is a static (private) IP address

Product: Internet Security By: Richie Brody Created: (24,12,2021 at 17:00 PM)

A static IP address, also called a private IP address, does not change and remains consistent. Most people don't use a static IP address and don't want to use it-this makes your device easy to track, because you always have the same Internet "point of entry".

Dedicated IP VPN

VPN providers usually do not provide static IP addresses, because they always provide you with the same Internet access, which conflicts with the goals achieved by VPNs. However, if you want to use it conveniently, or if you need to access your device remotely, a static IP address is very useful.

If you want to use a static IP address, please consult your ISP, they may provide additional IP addresses. You can also consider using another dynamic DNS service, which will enable your service or device to recognize your IP address, even if your IP address changes.
