VPN encrypts your surfing behavior and can only decode it by using a key. Only your computer and VPN know this key, so your ISP cannot determine where you are going online. Various VPNs use different encryption procedures, but they are usually divided into three steps:

• After you are online, start the VPN. VPN is a secure tunnel between you and the Internet. ISP and other third parties cannot detect this tunnel.

• Your device is now on a VPN LAN, and your IP address can be changed to the IP address provided by the VPN server.

• You can go online anytime, because VPN will protect all your personal data.
